Well, yesterday I managed to hand-write 18 pages for my four Public International Law essay questions. It was quite the long final, my hand is still sore. However, I will have to suck it up and do it again today because I have two finals, one at 9:00 am and one at 1:00 pm. I think I’ll be fine, though, because as I said, If I can make it through Public International Law, I’ll be in good shape and I definitely feel good about my PIL final from yesterday.
Today I have European Union law, which should theoretically be a piece of cake because it’s open note, open book, etc. And he basically spelled out for us the 3 topics the essay questions are going to cover, of which we choose two to answer. So, I’m alive, awake, alert and enthusiastic to write about the Free movement of Goods and Freedom of Establishment within the European Union.
The last final is International Human Rights law, which is closed book just like PIL yesterday. I still don’t think it’ll be bad, though.
Last night was really fun. It was Ann Miller’s (IOWA GIRL) last night in town, she finished her finals yesterday and left early this morning, so a few of us girls went out to a nice dinner to send her off. Then I met up with some people for a beer because it was also Matt the Aussie’s last night in town, then I met back up with the girls for a drink. It was a fun night and I was home in bed by 12:30, so good for me! I’ll upload the pictures, they’re pretty good.
